Key Concepts in Interational Security
When talking about national security, policymakers and experts use a variety of concepts, including deterrence, strategic stability, and dual-use. Understanding how states have understood and implemented these important security concepts--     both from a historical and contemporary perspective--is a core goal of this aspect of my research agenda.
