Public Engagement
I am committed to applying my research to important policy problems and disseminating my findings to the policy community and the broader public. I also want to support other scholars in their policy-relevant work. To that end, I have published commentary and other pieces of policy writing, engaged in public speaking, and organized workshops and conference panels. To prepare me for these tasks, I attended the Bridging the Gap's New Era Workshop (2021) and International Policy Summer Institute (2022), as well as participated in CISAC's Fellows Policy Workshop (2021-2022).

Emerging Scholars on Emerging Technologies (ESET)
With the support of an APSIA Grant, Eleni Ekmektsioglou and I brought together a group of scholars around emerging technologies in April 2022. The workshop featured two sessions for junior scholars to present their work and receive feedback from their peers and senior colleagues, as well as two sessions regarding best practices in terms of teaching about emerging technologies. The workshop, held at American University, welcomed 30 participants.
